What happens next
What happens after you apply.
The same process whether you came through the portal or sent your CV to us directly.
- We read it. Every application is reviewed by a person. If your background is relevant to the role, a consultant will normally contact you within two business days.
- A first conversation. We will discuss your experience, what you are looking for, current compensation and what would make a move worthwhile. Where appropriate, we will also explain the client and opportunity in more detail.
- We put you forward. We will only share your profile with a client after discussing the specific role with you and receiving your agreement to proceed.
- Interviews and feedback. We brief you before each interview stage and follow up with the client for feedback afterwards, keeping you updated throughout the process.
- Offer and start. We support you through offer negotiation, resignation, notice period and any counter-offer discussions, and stay in touch after you start.

Do I pay anything to work with Hyred?
No. Hyred does not charge candidates for representation or placement. Our recruitment fees are paid by the hiring company.
Will my CV be sent anywhere without my agreement?
No. We will discuss the company and role with you first and only share your profile once you have agreed to be considered for that specific opportunity.
What happens if I am not suitable for the role?
We will let you know where possible. If your experience may suit another current or future opportunity, we may discuss that with you separately.
How long does the process normally take?
Timelines vary by company and role. Permanent hiring processes commonly take several weeks from first interview to offer, while some contract requirements move considerably faster. Your consultant will keep you updated throughout the process.
Do you work with candidates outside Singapore and Malaysia?
Most of our roles are based in Singapore and Malaysia. Some opportunities elsewhere in Southeast Asia or roles open to relocation may also be advertised from time to time.
Can I ask you to delete my details?
